Why do I only hear them during the day in your state?
Squirrels are diurnal. Daytime scratching and rolling sounds in the attic are the clearest single indicator that you are dealing with squirrels rather than raccoons or rats.
How do squirrels get into an attic?
Chewed fascia, gable vents, roof returns and soffit corners, usually reached from an overhanging limb or a power line. They can open a gap far smaller than people expect.
Is chewed wiring a real risk?
Yes. Squirrel teeth grow continuously and wiring insulation is the right hardness for gnawing. After any squirrel removal it is worth having the attic wiring inspected.
What about babies in the nest?
We check for a nest before sealing anything. One-way doors are not used while flightless young are present, because that separates them from the mother and creates a dead animal problem.
How much is squirrel removal in your state?

Do you trim the trees too?
